As an Equipment Technician, you will be accountable for maintaining the production machines in liquid, topical, vaccine and overprint production areas in good working condition, maximum availability and consistently producing Quality product in order to achieve the set production plan targets in full compliance with GMP.

Key Responsibilities: Main equipment models are : LEE manufacturing system, IMA F57, IWKA TF20,IWKA CP150, Pagomat 6/90 labeling, BIPAK -Promatic, Session Inhalers testing, Libra B/B, over wrapping, Kadek overprinting, leaflet folding machines) The occupant shall also be required to extend engineering back up to other production machines in Tablet and Cephs. (Main Machine: DPN760 Blister, GC1000 coater, Express 20Manesty Compression,) Carry out routine maintenance of the Topical /Liquid manufacturing, Topical /Liquid filling, labeling and packaging machines. Carry out preventative maintenance tasks as per schedule. Carry out electrical checks periodically as per written procedure Develop the existing and introduce new PPM routines to minimize breakdown time. Carry out machine Changeovers and set up as agreed with the production. Carry out day to day trouble shooting and rectification of faults. Carry out minor electrical & mechanical trouble shooting and rectification. Working with electrical & mechanical professional for any electrical/mechanical breakdowns. Ensure the use of CMMS system to record all routine and incidental maintenance, review breakdown history and update the PPM routines as preventative measure. Operate to new and established Sop's designed to ensure that all related systems and engineering documentation are kept up to date and meets the current GSK. Ensure that all authored SOP's are kept up to date. Fabrication of small machine elements using workshop machines. Ensure that all tools and test equipment are kept in a safe and calibrated state prior to use. Work out spare part inventory to support maintenance plan Help procurement by dealing with local part-manufacturer/supplier technically. Implement authorized modification and machine development work and inform machine owner with the quick benefits from the suggested changes. Erection, installation, commissioning of new equipment Ensure the machines validation documentation books are kept up to date Ensure that the raised engineering Change control are implemented and completed as authorized and work closely with other team members as and when required. Ensure that machines O & M manuals are kept updated and available at point of use. Contribute /Develop Standard Operating Procedures as per requirement. Carry out training to machine operator. Attend and positively respond to training courses to improve work skills. Ensure that at all time the training record is kept up to date and in Readiness for Audit. Stand In for other equipment maintenance supervisor. Ensure Internal /External Audits readiness and complete actions /recommendations as agreed. Actively Contribute to OE activities and cost saving projects either within or outside area of responsibility. Ensure the reporting of up normal Incidents,Conditions or Near Misses that may result in damage to other GSK staff, property or reputation Comply with all related GQP's requirement and work in shifts whenever required. Carry on trouble shooting for equipments and to be on call whenever is required. Ensure full familiarity and Implementation of all applicable GSK Corporate Governance Policies.

Why you? Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: 5+ years of experience in Mechanical/Electrical. Bachelor's Degree in engineering or equivalent Diploma V. Good level of English language V. Good level of Computer skills (Microsoft office) Basic knowledge of GMP Good knowledge of EHS

Business Challenges Develop good relationship with factory staff. This will maximize overall team effort and therefore raise customer satisfaction. Co-ordinate with Warehouse, Planning, QA and Engineering as and when required to ensure on time delivery of materials and not to have any backlogs. Personal Challenges

Personal Challenges Accountable for individually identified risks and escalate to the line manager, where applicable develop risk mitigation plan and monitor the implementation plan. Strictly adhere to GSK Environmental, Health and safety instructions as per site EHS policy and procedures to prevent accidents. Ensure full GMP compliance in all performed duties. adhere the machines validation i.e. DQ,IQ,OQ and PQ (in co-ordination with production) Supervise outside maintenance contractors, working inside the plant, and ensure full GMP and EHS compliance. Avoid LTAs by using the right techniques e.g. manual handling. Promote quality and safe working all the time applying Zero access and LOTO standards
