Experience and Training: To provide a technical service to support activities related to the adequate maintenance of the Overhead cranes and electric hoists.

Minimum Education: Completed Minimum secondary education with a technical diploma or ITI certificate from a recognized institution.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience in supervisory capacity maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, overhaul, inspection, and modification of overhead cranes and Electric hoists including its component both electrical and mechanical side Good written and oral communication skills in English. Good interpersonal skills and ability to lead / work as a team member Should know how to operate a EOT crane Manlift operator certification and ability to work at elevated heights and comfortable with safety equipment COMPEX certified for work in Hazardous area

Description: Explain the typical hazards associated with EOT cranes maintenance Explain need of a safe, clean, and orderly work area. Explain the pre maintenance preparation works for the EOT crane maintenance Explain the mandatory documentation to obtain prior to starting the EOT Crane maintenance Explain crane components, their location on a crane and their principal functions Explain the basic EOT crane principles of structural strength, stability and configurations Explain the safety devices, function & repairs Explain how to inspect the basic rope condition and safely spooling of crane wire rope Explain the environmental and preservation conditions Explain access and egress routes for the EOT Crane maintenance incl work at height situations Ability to read electrical schematics related electrical equipment/component. Explain adequate Knowledge of gears mechanism

Skill: Excellent electrical and troubleshooting skills Conduct routine PM checks and inspections Read and interpret operations and Maintenance manuals. Diagnostic and perform electrical troubleshooting, repairing tasks such as assembling, dismantling, and overhauling crane equipment components such as motors, and control units. Preparing and submitting maintenance reports Supplies background information and plan resources in timely manner

Primary Responsibilities: Must Have Repair and inspect overhead cranes and hoists and other overhead lifting equipment to ensure equipment is compliant with manufacturers and QSGTL lifting maintenance strategy Significant experience with electrical control circuits for three and single phase power Prepare minimum inventory of the tool and parts required for planned maintenance Diagnostic and perform electrical troubleshooting, repairing tasks such as assembling, dismantling, and overhauling crane equipment components such as motors, and control units. Strong experience regarding equipment modifications, including VFD retrofits, radio remote installs motor and gear replacements Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot electrical equipment Motor repairs Manlift operator certification and ability to work at elevated heights and comfortable with safety equipment COMPEX certified for work in Hazardous area Perform duties of being Permit holder Communicate daily inspections reports of cranes with key stakeholders

Good to Have Prepare, records in SAP and Interface with company maintenance rep to create service request and inspection programs Plan 3 weeks look ahead plans as per PM schedule in SAP and request required support tools/machineries/scaffold etc. Hydraulic to electrical braking retrofits and bar to festoon conversions PLC knowledge a plus Machining and welding skills Mechanical gearing knowledge Experience in solid state / magnetic motor control AC/DC Installation of Overhead equipment.
