Environmental Coordinator - Construction Project
Job Location : UAE
Responsibilities :

• Implement and maintain the project EMS aligned with ISO 14001 standards.
• Execute the Construction Waste Management Plan (segregation, tracking, disposal, and vendor compliance).
• Conduct environmental monitoring (waste, emissions, noise, water/soil, spill prevention) and maintain records.
• Plan and perform internal environmental audits/inspections; track nonconformities and corrective actions.
• Prepare environmental reports (daily/weekly/monthly KPIs, incident/near-miss, sustainability metrics) for client and authorities.
• Coordinate permits, approvals, and interface with regulators and ADNOC where applicable.
• Deliver toolbox talks and training on waste management, spill response, and site environmental controls.
• Support risk assessments (ERAs) and method statements with environmental controls.
• Lead/assist in incident investigations and implement preventive measures.
• Liaise with construction, HSE, and subcontractor teams to ensure site activities meet environmental requirements.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science/Engineering or a related discipline.
• 2-5 years' experience in construction/infrastructure projects; ADNOC procedures exposure is an advantage.
• Working knowledge of ISO 14001, waste management practices, and environmental audits.
• Professional certifications (e.g., Certified Environmental Auditor / CPEA) are a plus.
• Strong report writing, communication, stakeholder coordination, and organizational skills.
• Proficient with MS Office; familiarity with environmental data logging/reporting tools preferred.
