Job role: Environment & Climate Change Policies & Economic Studies Section Head Section Location: Abu Dhabi Vacancy: 1 Education: Bachelor degree Experience: 6 to 8 years Job Details: Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, e.g., economy, finance, business management, energy/Environmental policy, and relevant Sciences major. Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in a related field. Comprehensive knowledge of the economics of the energy sector; macro-economic principles, supply-demand balances, elasticities etc. Comprehensive knowledge of the environment and climate change. Extensive knowledge of environmental policy development, including preparation of policy proposals, evaluation, and collecting feedback. Awareness of regional and global laws and policies governing the environment and climate change related activities. Adequate knowledge of Abu Dhabi's water and energy sectors, as well as their strategic directions and developments, as well as the sectors' objectives and the needs of the key stakeholders.
