An excellent opportunity is available with a banking institution within ADGM (Abu Dhabi Global Market) for an Enterprise Risk Manager.
Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer and Chief Executive Officer, you will understand the overall risks of the business, in relation to ensuring that all aspects of the business risks are properly identified, formulate appropriate controls, conduct periodic tests and report to the board on periodic basis.
Key Responsibilities:

• Have an overall understanding on the business, operations and other control functions and understand the presence of risks in every function
• To work closely with all divisions to prepare any report expected to be provided
• To work with control functions and advise on all the risks
• To review and update the Risk Matrix
• To formulate, review and update the Risk Register
• To engage every function within the Firm, understand the risks within each of these functions and ensure solutions and mitigations are in place at all time
• To communicate clearly to every function's head on the prevailing risks and how these risks are to be addressed and managed. Where there is a residual risks, to work with the function heads on how to address these residual risk
• To prepare periodic reports to the Board Audit & Risk Committee and Board of Directors

The Enterprise Risk Manager will possess excellent experience of operating in a risk management role within the banking industry, preferably working within a ADGM (Abu Dhabi Global Market) or DFSA (Dubai Financial Services Authority) environment. You will have a strong exposure to Enterprise risk, credit risk, and you will have knowledge of ICAAP and stress testing. You will be excellent in both oral and written communication, particularly in English language, ability to solve complex issue and have ability to build an understanding of the business and the prevailing risks.
