Role Overview
We are looking for experienced, passionate people to join our global presales team at a time of growth in cloud networks and global managed services. Telecom and Technology is the IT Services division within NCR providing Customer Services across the globe. We design and deliver global field and managed services include enterprise networking, cloud networks (SD-WAN/NFV), wireless and optical networks. We offer a flexible working environment with a mix of home working, onsite customer meetings, excellent office facilities and the use of collaborative technology. This is a great opportunity to join NCR at a time of further investment in our Telecom and Technology division.
This will be Customer facing pre-sales role with technical capability, large scale service design and ITIL thinking. We are also looking for people with a strong technical background who can apply technical thinking to our service transformation journeys with Clients.
This role will be focused on presales leadership for our large, global strategic accounts. This role is about taking a holistic and consultative approach with our largest customers and act a role model to the wider team.
Our customers need trusted advisors that can advise them from a technical viewpoint how to transform their Networking Solutions and Services. There may be some close co-ordination with technical teams but the role is primarily focused on technical presales so that we can provide transformational thinking to our clients on their Network environment and then deliver a range of services to design, support and manage those environments with NCR and partner capabilities. You will work in close partnership with other Service Architects and Sales.
Location
To be close to our customers this role will be virtual in Dubai.
Travel can be 20 - 40% of the role but may vary (currently subject to covid-19 restrictions).

Industry and Technical Knowledge
Strong understanding of cloud and digital concepts with an interest in market trends
Clearly understands the fourth industrial revolution in which disruptive technologies and trends such as the Internet of Things (IoT), robotics, virtual reality (VR) and artificial intelligence (AI) are changing the way our Customers work
Experience in evangelising network resilience and transformation with an orientation towards innovation
Experience and strong familiarly with multiple world leading network vendors such as: Cisco, HP networking, Juniper, Velocloud, Silverpeak, Versa and Nokia Nuage
Knowledge of cloud-based orchestration platforms and policy management
Knowledge of hosting technologies including Windows and Linux based server hosts, network-based storage and common data centre infrastructure
Able to see and articulate the big picture across a large strategic account to leverage ideas and efficiencies in our processes and proposals
Can demonstrate how technology services can drive improvements in the customer experience
Experience in evangelising service capabilities with an orientation towards innovation at executive level
Technical Experience
Experience must include Cisco, and an ability to work across a range of different technologies from an integrated network and infrastructure perspective, example relevant technologies are detailed below:
Track record working with virtual teams including technical architects, professional services, engineers, project management, ops and service management
Can create an enterprise network roadmap for a customer and deliver tangible pipeline opportunities through those future state discussions
Experience working with sales teams to evangelise about enterprise networks especially new cloud-based network technologies
Can demonstrate taking the lead on multiple presales engagements simultaneously for large customers finding ways to drive repeatability and innovation
Experience in building complex cost models for design and implementation projects and innovating to refine the cost base
Work closely with bid finance and pricing analysts to create detailed project pricing
Experience of working closely with large technology vendors to plan the hardware and software required for a bid or project
Understanding of contracts such as Statements of Work to detail what will be delivered in a technical project
At minimum experience working on deals in the range of $5million to $20million+
Significant experience working with PS / engineer implementation teams
Working with sales help to qualify new opportunities, managing sales and customer expectations on what we can deliver
Deliver a well-defined set of technical HLD documents in a timely manner
Can produce LLD\xe2\x80\x99s or manage other professionals and guide them to produce LLD\xe2\x80\x99s
Can perform network troubleshooting with industry standard tools to isolate and diagnose common network problems that support the need for transformation
Can lead virtual teams and be hands on in large network transformation projects
Create technical elements of a bid review presentation to help senior internal stakeholders make decisions

Experience of developing partner strategy to build an overall service model
Deep understanding of contract documents including master service agreements, statements of work, adoption agreements and service levels
At minimum experience working on deals in the range of $20million to $50million+ with multiple technology and service layers
Experience working with PS subject matter experts to bring together service and technical components
Can make business decisions with sales leaders to qualify new opportunities, managing sales and customer expectations on what we can deliver
Deliver a well-defined set of service design documents in a timely manner presenting an end to end seamless service
Manage approvals from executive level stakeholders in the business for example \xe2\x80\x93 finance, legal, delivery and operations
