We are looking for a qualified English Teacher to join our established team at GEMS Education, Dubai, starting from January 2026.

Skills
The ideal candidate should have a strong track record in effective teaching and helping students succeed. While experience in teaching the IB Middle Years and Diploma programmes is preferred, outstanding teachers from any curriculum background are encouraged to apply. A genuine passion for working in a non-selective and culturally diverse community is also a key requirement. Additionally, the candidate should possess:

• A certified professional teaching qualification at degree level, such as B. Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent specialism in English
• A minimum of 3 years experience teaching Secondary/High School English, ideally within an IB curriculum school, however this is not mandatory
• Availability from January 2026
• The experience, personality and educational philosophy to drive further, the education agenda at this GEMS school with an international student body
• The desire to provide outstanding teaching and learning
• Aspiration to work in a world class school with significant opportunities for career development and advancement
