English Teacher
Position: English Teacher (Secondary Level)
Curriculum: British Curriculum (GCSE, IGCSE, A-Levels preferred)
About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic English Teacher to join our dedicated faculty. The successful candidate will have a love for literature and language and the ability to instill this passion in their students. You will be responsible for teaching English Language and Literature, developing critical thinking and analytical skills, and guiding students to become effective communicators.
Key Responsibilities:

• Teach English Language and Literature to students following the British curriculum.
• Create comprehensive lesson plans that cover key texts, grammar, composition, and spoken language skills.
• Encourage a love of reading and develop students' analytical and interpretive skills.
• Guide students in developing their creative, persuasive, and academic writing abilities.
• Prepare students thoroughly for GCSE/IGCSE and A-Level examinations.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback on student work to facilitate growth.
• Organize and participate in literary-focused events, such as book clubs, debates, and author visits.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular links and initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in English Literature, English Language, or a related field. A PGCE, QTS, or equivalent teaching certification is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, specifically with the British curriculum.
• Valid Ministry of Education (MoE) Approval is mandatory.
• In-depth knowledge of a range of literary genres and texts commonly taught in the British system.
• Strong ability to teach essay writing, textual analysis, and grammar.
• Passionate about fostering literacy and critical thinking skills.
• Candidates currently residing in Ajman or Sharjah are preferred.
