We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic English Language Instructor to teach beginner-level adult learners. The instructor will design and deliver engaging lessons that develop students' foundational English language skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. The role requires sensitivity to adult learners' needs and cultural backgrounds, with a focus on practical communication skills for daily life or work settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver beginner-level English language lessons tailored to adult learners.
Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with learning objectives and curriculum standards.
Focus on improving students' basic English communication, vocabulary, and pronunciation.
Use interactive and real-life scenarios to enhance learning and encourage participation.
Evaluate student progress regularly through assessments, quizzes, and feedback sessions.
Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the needs of diverse learners.
Maintain a positive and respectful classroom environment conducive to adult learning.
Encourage student engagement, confidence, and motivation in using English.
Maintain attendance records, student performance data, and reports.
Provide extra support for struggling learners when necessary.
Attend staff development sessions and contribute to curriculum improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in English, Education, TESOL, Linguistics, or a related field.
TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, or equivalent teaching certification (required).
Minimum of 1-2 years teaching English as a second language (ESL) to adults preferred.
Experience working with beginner-level learners or non-native English speakers.
