Job Description
Job Summary:
The Engineering Technician - Electrical & Plumbing is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of all electrical and plumbing systems within the hotel premises. This includes ensuring all systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with relevant codes and hotel standards. The role supports smooth hotel operations and contributes to guest comfort and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Electrical:
Perform regular inspections, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, control panels, and backup generators. Diagnose electrical faults and carry out repairs in a timely and safe manner. Install new electrical wiring, sockets, light fixtures, and appliances as required. Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations and hotel standards.
Plumbing:
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of all plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, sewage, and fixtures. Repair leaks, clogged drains, broken pipes, and malfunctioning fixtures such as toilets, sinks, and showers. Install new plumbing systems or modify existing ones as needed. Maintain water heaters, pumps, and water tanks.
Qualifications:
Technical diploma or certification in Electrical, Plumbing, or a related field. Experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry. Basic English communication skills (spoken and written).
