Engineering Technician

Job Description
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of hotel equipment, systems, and facilities, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. Repair and replace defective equipment, fixtures, and components as needed. Troubleshoot technical issues in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Ensure timely resolution of guest service requests related to engineering and maintenance.
Operational Support:
Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new systems and equipment. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, logs, and inventory. Support energy conservation initiatives and efficient operation of building systems. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and minimal disruption to guest services.Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to health and safety regulations and hotel policies during all tasks. Ensure compliance with local codes, ordinances, and environmental standards. Respond promptly to emergency situations, including fire alarms, power outages, and water leaks. Perform safety checks on equipment to prevent accidents and breakdowns.
Teamwork and Communication:
Coordinate with the Engineering Manager and team to prioritize tasks and allocate resources efficiently. Provide technical support and training to junior team members when required. Participate in daily briefings and communicate effectively with other departments.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to AED1,500.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
Fujairah: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Required)
