About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for an Engineering Supervisor to join the team of Engineering in Jumeirah Hatta Resorts. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

• Supervise and guide a team of engineers in executing technical tasks and projects.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules, inspections, and repairs of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Coordinate with various departments to address cross-functional technical concerns and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
• Oversee and coordinate engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within specifications.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols for the engineering team.
• Stay informed about industry advancements and emerging technologies to improve engineering processes continuously.
• Supervise all day-to-day general maintenance work within the hotel rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.
• Coordinate electrical and plumbing schedules including water testing
• Review and maintain daily check lists and operation work sheet.
• Ensure correct procedures and safety precautions are followed.

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in engineering or a related field
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient with computers and relevant computer programs, including Microsoft programs
• Proven experience in a supervisory role within an engineering department
• In-depth technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
