The Engineering Supervisor is responsible for below tasks and others assigned by thier departments as necessary.

• Implementation of the Hotel Planned Maintenance programme.
• Implementation of induction, health & safety, SOP and other training programmes.
• To supervise and direct colleagues in the performance of their duties.
• To monitor work requests and ensure promptness of service with particular emphasis on guest areas.
• To carry out quality assurance spot checks on colleague\'s work.
• To liaise with specialist contractors to ensure that breakdowns are dealt with promptly and cost effectively.
• To be a member of the investigation team in the event of activation of alarms such as fire.
• Carry out daily fire, life and safety checks as detailed in the departments Policies and Procedures manual.
• Cover Chief Engineer shifts in their absence.
• Manage Daily Engineering Report
• Deputise in any Meetings in the Absence of the Chief Engineer
• Manage PPM Schedule of Apartments in accordance to occupancy
• Manage VIP Arrivals Engineering Checks
• Liaise with Guest Relations for Occupied Rooms Access
• Manage Out of Order Rooms and liaise with Chief Engineer before taking rooms Out of Order
• Organize Contractors / Contractor Related Repairs

• Organize and Schedule all PPM Visits from Contractors
• Manage all Orders and PO\'s
• Source all Parts to Order and Manage Parts File
• Manage all Quotations and follow up with Suppliers on missing quotes
• Carryout any Projects Set by Chief Engineer and Assistant Chief Engineer
• Minute Taker for Monthly Engineering Meetings and carry out follow ups Manage / Update all Engineering Files
• Manage the Engineering Department Rota
• Training Coordinator for the Engineering Department
• Arrange quarterly departmental social events
• Ensure Engineering Team keeps areas tidy
• Ensure all Contractors sign in and out
• Ensure Agency workers are given an induction by Security
• To be flexible and extend job duties to carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the job capability as assigned, including redeployment to alternative departments/ areas if required, to meet business needs.
