THE HYDE DUBAI

Hyde Hotels, Resorts & Residences, part of the world-leading Accor group, is the first Hyde hotel outside of the United States, Hyde Dubai Business Bay, in close proximity to the iconic Burj Khalifa directly fronting the Business Bay canal and promenade.

The 276-rooms, all with balconies, is a mix of gracious standard rooms and luxurious suites with views of the Dubai Canal, the Dubai skyline and the iconic Burj Khalifa \xe2\x80\x93 the tallest building in the world.

Hyde Hotel Dubai features three incredible culinary experiences including the Mediterranean concept, Cleo Mediterr\xc3\xa1neo, contemporary Japanese from Katsuya, hand-crafted burgers from Hudson Tavern. Also on the property is The Perq, a coffee concept, a lobby lounge, and Hyde pool & lounge as well as a spa, male/female salon, fitness center, a swimming pool and retail area. The hotel\xe2\x80\x99s public areas, guestrooms and Cleo are designed by Ciarmoli Queda Studio. Katsuya, Hudson Tavern and Hyde pool and lounge are designed by Tristan Plessis Studio.

The Position

To ensure efficient operation of the hotel property and all its equipment, ancillary maintenance and repair services, projects and protection of the Owner\'s asset.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

As Engineering Supervisor you are responsible for all the mechanical and technical maintenance and HVAC equipment within your property and your role will include key responsibilities such as:

Supervise and control the reactive and preventive maintenance schedule

Ensuring that the engineering stores are well managed, maintained, controlled and stocked at all time.

Responsible for the health safety of the property

Follow and lead all preventive maintenance works strictly and maintain records for future reference

Coordinate with other department\'s counterparts to ensure their satisfaction on quality and progress

Create departmental training programmes among engineering employees and create opportunities to multitask

Distribute the work to subordinates accordingly to their capabilities in order to get the best results to the specified standards

Carry out any and all technical, project, and commercial instructions related to the property assets as required and instructed by the Chief Engineer.

Proficient in all aspects of building operations and facilities management

The ability to work independently with good interpersonal skills

A creative, practical and pro-active approach to problem solving

A proven ability to build, lead and manage a team

An energetic and dynamic personality

QUALIFICATIONS

Post-Secondary graduate in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in hospitality industry with multi-trades Supervisory experience
