Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Define, agree, and maintain full scale project plans and cost and schedule baselines that meet both project contractual requirements and stakeholder expectation
- Periodically update the management on the status of existing projects and prospective projects.
- Act as primary customer contact for project activities, leading project review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
- Continually review the projects with the various stakeholders.
- Manage project financials (milestone payments and cash flow) to achieve expected profitability.
- Support sales team in bid preparation for prospective projects and review final bid submissions.
- Maintain prospective project logs with sales.
- Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
- Estimate the manpower /resources required to achieve the goal and allocate appropriately to all projects
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members
- Liaise with other department managers for mobilization of required personnel from within the company
- Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team
- Review and approve all Risk Assessments
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
- Ensure adherence to the essential quality standards.
- Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.
- Compliance with Occupational Safety and UAE Systems Framework.
- Facilitate safety risk assessments & environmental impact assessments
- Supports HSE Manager in conducting HSE inspections and preparation of HSE reports
- Follows-up QHSE issues assigned by the HSE Manager and Quality Manager
- Co-ordinating client project HSE requirements
- Investigate and Close out all Non-Conformances
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or post-graduation degree in the field of engineering with at least 10 years of experience
- 4-5 years direct work experience in handling Diving/Marine projects, including all aspects of process development and execution.
- Experience in Marine Application installation projects.
- PMP certifications and hands- on experience in project management software is an added advantage.
- Adept in using MS-Office/ERP suite.
- NEBOSH IGC Certified
