Define, agree, and maintain full scale project plans and cost and schedule baselines that meet both project contractual requirements and stakeholder expectation
Periodically update the management on the status of existing projects and prospective projects.
Act as primary customer contact for project activities, leading project review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
Continually review the projects with the various stakeholders.
Manage project financials (milestone payments and cash flow) to achieve expected profitability.
Support sales team in bid preparation for prospective projects and review final bid submissions.
Maintain prospective project logs with sales.
Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
Estimate the manpower /resources required to achieve the goal and allocate appropriately to all projects
Effectively communicate project expectations to team members
Liaise with other department managers for mobilization of required personnel from within the company
Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team
Review and approve all Risk Assessments
Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
Ensure adherence to the essential quality standards.
Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.
