Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab is seeking a detail-oriented Engineering Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of our engineering department. This role plays a critical part in maintaining service excellence across all technical functions in one of Dubai's most exclusive luxury resorts.

Position Overview
As Engineering Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing engineering work orders, tracking preventive maintenance schedules, and ensuring efficient coordination between technicians and other hotel departments. You will also liaise with contractors and vendors, and maintain all technical documentation and logs to support seamless resort operations.
What You'll Do

• Manage all incoming engineering service requests and assign tasks to the relevant technicians
• Monitor and schedule preventive maintenance for guest rooms, HVAC, kitchens, elevators, laundry systems, and other hotel infrastructure
• Maintain logs of completed tasks, open issues, guest complaints, and recurring service orders using CMMS tools
• Ensure all documentation is up to date, including PPM checklists, maintenance reports, inspection records, and compliance certificates
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for repairs, inspections, and contracted engineering work
• Support engineering team in tracking inventory, planning shift coverage, and maintaining operational readiness

Ideal Profile

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Facilities Engineering preferred
• 2 to 4 years of experience in hotel engineering or facilities coordination
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, building management systems, and kitchen equipment
• Experience with CMMS software (e.g., Opera, HotSOS) and strong Microsoft Office skills
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or engineering schematics is a plus
• Strong organizational and communication skills
