Engineering Team Leader

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Engineering Coordinator to join Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi.

Responsibilities:

\xc2\xb7 Makes store requisitioning through the purchasing system.

\xc2\xb7 Maintains up to date Filing.

\xc2\xb7 Performs other duties assigned by his/her immediate Superior.

\xc2\xb7 Prepare and arrange the Director of Engineering\xe2\x80\x99s diary (e.g. meetings, trainings, briefings, etc.).

\xc2\xb7 To report to the Director of Engineering on a daily basis all incoming and outgoing information (e.g. status of certain assignments given, inquiries, etc).

\xc2\xb7 Coordinates with other departments accordingly (e.g. requests, work orders, inquiries, etc).

\xc2\xb7 Obtain quotations from outside contractors/ suppliers, summarize and forward to the Director of Engineering and prepares the purchase order as necessary.

\xc2\xb7 Organize and implement in house training programs for the Engineering Department

\xc2\xb7 Assist in the monitoring and maintaining of inventory.

\xc2\xb7 Arranges internal and external appointments.

\xc2\xb7 Assists in the preparation of all report documents.

\xc2\xb7 Maintain and file all equipment operation log sheets.

\xc2\xb7 Ensure that all equipment 3rd party certificates are all valid and to be renewed prior to the expiry date.

\xc2\xb7 Assist with the daily operations, check the RSM dashboard and inform the leader or the technicians accordingly.

Your experience and skills include:

\xc2\xb7 Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and related programs for Engineering.

\xc2\xb7 Must have excellent oral, written, communication and organizational skills.

\xc2\xb7 Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.

\xc2\xb7 Must be effective at handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary.

\xc2\xb7 Must have the ability to assimilate complex information, data, etc. from disparate sources and consider, adjust, or modify to meet the constraints of a particular need.

\xc2\xb7 At least 1 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a similar capacity.

\xc2\xb7 Experience in the luxury or upscale segment is preferred.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to work cohesively and collectively as part of a team
