WHAT'S THE ROLE?


As an Engineering Business Developer, you will be responsible for visiting engineering and architectural firms to identify opportunities for specifying Hilti products, services, and software in construction projects. You will provide technical support and guidance to specifiers early in the design phase, promoting the value of Hilti solutions through sound engineering judgment.


This role also includes driving the adoption of Hilti's software solutions--especially Profis Engineering--by demonstrating their technical and commercial benefits. You will collaborate with internal teams, such as Field Engineers and Account Managers, to ensure smooth specification and installation processes.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE?


We are looking for an Engineering Business Developer to engage key specifiers in our region mainly in Egypt and Lebanon.


The role focuses on driving specifications and influencing mega projects from early design stages.


Based in UAE, the candidate will travel frequently to Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, and other markets to build relationships and follow projects.

WHAT YOU NEED IS


Bachelor's degree in engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or Structural); a master's degree is preferred. Minimum of 7 years of experience in engineering specification and business development Strong understanding of engineering solutions, particularly in construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects. Strong skills in presenting technical solutions and influencing stakeholders. Proficient in English and Arabic Understanding how to navigate the specification process to ensure company products are included in project designs. Ability to assess market trends, identify new business opportunities, and drive strategic engagement. Ability to engage with decision-makers within top-tier engineering consulting firms.
