About Us:

Focus Media Middle East, the world's leading elevator media company, is seeking a dependable and skilled Engineering Assistant to join our dynamic operations team in Abu Dhabi.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct on-site surveys of buildings to assess screen installation requirements. Document details such as screen location, power sources, construction methods, and feasibility. Coordinate with the property's engineering team to confirm installation viability. Collaborate with electricians and engineering assistants to install screens in designated areas, including lobby elevator entrances and inside elevators. Ensure installations comply with company standards and property specifications. Liaise with the construction team, technical staff, and building engineering departments to ensure timely project completion. Monitor construction progress to verify adherence to safety and quality standards. Mount screens and calibrate parameters to ensure proper functionality. Provide basic training and troubleshoot common technical issues. Perform regular equipment inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure long-term stability. Support advertising distribution and content updates as needed. Complete required forms and update system software for record-keeping. Organize files, apply for construction permits and parking access, and facilitate smooth site entry for the installation team..

Qualifications & Skills

Proven experience in AV installation, electrical work, or construction coordination, preferably with digital screens or signage systems. Ability to conduct site surveys, assess technical requirements, and determine installation feasibility. Familiarity with low-voltage systems, power sources, and construction methods for screen mounting. Proficiency in calibrating and troubleshooting digital display parameters to ensure optimal performance. Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices to ensure long-term equipment functionality.

Requirements:

Certification or training in electrical work, AV installation, or construction management is a plus. Experience with advertising displays or digital signage systems is advantageous. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor; Strong sense of responsibility and the ability to manage multiple tasks independently; Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic document handling; Language?English, Mandarin is a plus UAE driver's licence is a plus.
