Job Purpose

Job Specific Accountabilities (Part 1)

. Plans and develops capital projects budget and annual operating budget of the Division to ensure development of realistic budget and optimum utilization and control of projects and Divisional budget as well as implementation of Company's guidelines, policies and procedures. . Plans, reviews and monitors cost input to feasibility cost estimate and Front End Engineering Design Instruction to Tenderers (FEED ITT) to ensure a proper basis for selection and development of FEED. . Plans, reviews and monitors FEED Engineering, Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) Tender Project Control Documents such as Financial Annexure and Cost evaluation formats, development of EPC cost estimates to ensure FEED services conform to Agreement terms and to ensure realistic EPC cost estimates. . Plans, reviews and monitors cost evaluation formats, un-priced commercials, deviations and exceptions, clarification with bidders to ensure proper selection of EPC Contractor. . Evaluate Variation Requests / Claims by Contractors and to make in-depth analysis of all cost related submittals from Consultants and prepare counter estimates taking into consideration contractual schedule of unit rates for variations and make appropriate recommendations to Management for approval . Monitor the reported costs and determine the areas of concern impacting the Agreement price and budget of the projects, advice Project Management Team on the proposed corrective actions to be taken in order to mitigate its impact on the project budget. . Plans and reviews development of preliminary and final cost estimates of projects, cost of services and Agreement for the Contractor / Consultants & cost estimates for trend notices to ensure development of realistic cost estimate for monitoring and control. . Prepare cost estimates and budgets for new projects and develop submittals for management approvals. Meet the corporate reporting requirements as per the stipulated time schedules.

Provide input for preparation of the Department/ Section budgets and assist in the implementation of the approved Budget and work plans to deliver Section objectives. . Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control. Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures . Implement approved Department / Section policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in order to support execution of the Department / Section's work programs in line with Company and International standards. . Comply with all applicable legislation and legal regulations. Performance Management . Contribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the Department / Section in line with the Company Performance framework. Innovation and Continuous Improvement . Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes. . Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with ISO standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function. Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability . Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices Reports . Provide inputs to prepare Section MIS and progress reports for Company Management

Minimum Qualification

Bachelor Degree in Engineering.

Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills

6 years of experience, including at least

Work Condition, Physical effort & Work Environment

Physical Effort Minimal Work Environment A/C environment, could be exposed to the prevailing weather conditions like heat, humidity and dust during occasional site visits.
