Job Purpose

Provide Operations Technical Support related to Mechanical Engineering for day-to-day issues for UZ facilities,

troubleshooting exercise, identifying debottlenecking opportunities and interface with various stakeholders in the

Company to provide effective engineering & operation solutions that support field operations without compromising HSE

& Integrity

Job Specific Accountabilities (Part 1)

Provide Day-to-day technical support to site operations for various technical queries impacting plant operations

\xef\x82\xb7 Prepares conceptual design and Feasibility Study, operation and maintenance philosophy, cost benefit analysis,

project implementation strategy as and when required.

\xef\x82\xb7 Provide Technical support to Analyse operations problems and identify troubleshooting requirement

\xef\x82\xb7 Provide technical support for all the Asset Managed Maintenance activities like MOH, refurbishment, like to like

replacement etc.

\xef\x82\xb7 Follow up progress of all studies/ projects sent to CED. Participate in various engineering reviews / workshops for

those studies / projects

\xef\x82\xb7 Provide technical support for interface related to all shared facilities like utilities for new projects and studies

\xef\x82\xb7 Provide technical support for conducting Incident investigations, Audits and Surveys followed by follow up of

recommendation actions & its implementation

\xef\x82\xb7 Technical support for review / approval of documents for purchase of equipment / PR item by Asset / COMPANY

(not requiring engineering Packages).

\xef\x82\xb7 Provide technical support, during site implementation for minor works (Site Schemes) managed by ASSET.

\xef\x82\xb7 Provide input & participation in PID review, Plot Plan review, 3D Model review, HAZOP, Constructability review,

Material Handling, Tie-in review & other safety studies including minor works managed by ASSET

Manage Plant Modification Requests (PMR) and Engineering Work Requests (EWR) in HQ including initial

screening, prioritizing, tracking, review & interfacing with CED including final close-out based on As-Built & support

during implementation. Review and approve temporary PMRs in co-ordination with Central Engineering Division.

\xef\x82\xb7 Input / Develop Business case / Statement of Requirement deemed as appropriate for new requirements based

on optimization opportunity, change of operation philosophy, Audit Actions, Risk Register etc. related to

Engineering issues

\xef\x82\xb7 Provide Technical support for implementation and managing Corrosion Management, Energy Management,

Operations integrity etc. for Asset and interface with corresponding company Focal point & site

\xef\x82\xb7 Coordinate Engineering Package for well hook-up including coordination, prioritizing, tracking, review &

interfacing with CED including final close-out based on As-Built & support during implementation.

\xef\x82\xb7 Participates in the prequalification of Material/equipment suppliers and Construction Contractors.

\xef\x82\xb7 Participates in the preparation, reviews and updates of COMPANY Standards and Codes

• Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.
• Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective section objectives.

• Provide input for preparation of the Department/ Section budgets and assist in the implementation of the approved Budget and work plans to deliver Section objectives.
• Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control.

• Implement approved Department / Section policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in order to support execution of the Department / Section\'s work programs in line with Company and International standards.
• Comply with all applicable legislation and legal regulations.

• Contribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the Department / Section in line with the Company Performance framework.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement

• Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.
• Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with ISO standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function.

Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability

• Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices

Reports

• Provide inputs to prepare Section MIS and progress reports for Company Management

Contact with external parties including consultants, third party service providers, and government agencies as required

Minimum Qualification

Bachelor\'s Degree in mechanical engineering or Equivalent.

Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills

5-6 years of experience, in oil & gas industry (offshore & onshore), with comprehensive hands-on experience in all fields of piping engineering (i.e. Piping Layout, Piping Materials, and Piping Stress Analysis).
