The candidates should have an Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Supervise the installation of mechanical systems such as piping, pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, and HVAC units
Ensure alignment with engineering drawings, specifications, and offshore standards
Develop detailed construction plans and schedules for mechanical works
Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and marine operations for timely delivery and installation of equipment
Implement QA/QC procedures including inspections, testing, and verification of mechanical systems
Enforce offshore HSE protocols during mechanical construction activities
Collaborate with civil, electrical, and instrumentation teams to resolve interface issues
Oversee fabrication and erection of piping systems including hydrotesting and flushing
Assist in pre-commissioning and commissioning of mechanical systems.
Maintain construction records, punch lists, and progress reports.
Prepare mechanical completion dossiers and support audits
Experience Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
12-15 years in oil & gas construction, with 5+ years offshore
Strong knowledge of ASME, API, ISO, ANSI, and offshore codes
AutoCAD, Navisworks, MS Project, Primavera, and piping design tools
Previous experience in the ADNOC projects in the similar role would be an added advantage.
