Engineer, Geographical Information Systems (integrity Team Pipeline)

Job Description
JOB PURPOSE
Plan, coordinate, and manage GIS projects and systems related to the pipeline network. Ensure accurate spatial data management, regular updates, and integration of GIS information to support operational and business requirements.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
GIS Management
- Manage and maintain GIS systems for pipeline operations, ensuring timely updates and issue escalation.
- Supervise GIS-related projects and contribute to the design and enhancement of GIS applications.
- Collaborate with network teams to align GIS solutions with operational needs.
- Coordinate with vendors for change request deliveries and system improvements.
- Perform regular reviews and updates of GIS data using ArcGIS / ArcPro software.
- Ensure GIS information supports the implementation of Pipeline Integrity Management Systems (PIMS).
- Maintain geo-database design, conventions, and security protocols.
- Integrate GIS data with other OSS systems to support strategic architecture.
- Provide inputs for GIS data assessments and improvements.
- Support data-driven decision-making through spatial analysis and reporting.
Minimum Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree in Geographic Information Systems, Geosciences, or equivalent.
Experience:
Minimum 6 years in GIS and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) planning, development, integration, and maintenance.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in geo-database design and GIS security protocols.
- Strong knowledge of HSE procedures and practices.
- Competency in planning, organising, scheduling, and coordinating GIS activities.
