Lead and manage the Facilities Management service provider to provide facilities engineering/management activities, the functional operations of the facilities and maintenance service and support. Facilities services include corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance, as well as capital projects, plan operations, subcontract management, project management assistance, and spares/consumables management.
Full responsibility for Managed Services organization in Circle.
Delivery of the contracted services in the designated geographical area/circle(s) and maintain contractual KPI/SLA's.
Manage all Facilities Contracts and contractors and maintain review process for contracts such as (but not limited to; Electromechanical systems, UPS, DC system, Site security, waste management, cleaning, sprinkler systems, alarm systems, CCTV, PAT, Vibration analysis, Environmental, pest control, Cleanroom balancing, requalification and equipment testing, HVAC, Electricity, and Gas.)
Lead and manage a team of automation engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high-quality work, productivity, and professional development.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define automation strategies, identify areas for automation, and prioritize projects based on business impact and feasibility.
Providing technical input to a Management of Change process and develop process safety information
Research building systems and makes recommendations to line manager for energy improvements, modernization, equipment replacement or upgrades
Helps develop budgets and plans and assists operations personnel in reviewing existing facilities to improve efficiency and reduce costs
Serves as a liaison between line Manager and FLM partners and building Management, communicating all information in regard to O&M.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and standardization through automation, analyzing existing workflows and recommending automation solutions to increase productivity and reduce errors.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, IT, and project management, to understand business requirements, develop automation strategies aligned with organizational goals, and ensure successful implementation of automation projects.
Supervise planned and breakdown electrical maintenance work carried out by electricians and contractors' personnel on installations as required. Includes supervising the repair and maintenance of such equipment ensuring that work is done according to company's specifications and standards/ regulations.
Ensures availability of adequate supplies of stores and spare parts required for maintenance and repair work and initiates necessary materials requisition for replenishment of the stock.
Qualifications:
Minimum Bachelor degree in Electromechanical Engineering
Experience:
Minimum 7 years of experience in an engineering role in Telecom industry
Excellent knowledge of electrical works execution & implementation for infrastructure supporting telecommunications networks.
Skills
Good knowledge of rule, regulation & requirements of the No Objection Certification processes in the UAE regions
Good knowledge in design tools (MS Visio, MS Project, MS Office and CAD).
Knowledge about electromechanical systems and other civil works related systems.
Knowledge about site surveying instruments using GPS technology.
