The Support And Analysis Engineering (SAE) Engineer assumes complete engineering responsibility for assigned company proposals, projects, investigations, aircraft & components reliability programs, and other activities under the guidance of the workplace supervisor. Operates within cross-functional teams (engineering, maintenance, quality, logistics, etc.) to achieve overall program objectives. Satisfies all sections and customer requirements including customer satisfaction, cost, quality, and safety. Key responsibilities include:

Providing engineering assistance, technical expertise, and guidance to the aircraft maintenance, servicing, inspection process, components, and system reliability, including procurements activities. Developing new or updating existing maintenance procedures, guidance, repair schemes, instructions, and local modifications in accordance with company procedures. Providing technical support regarding manufactureraEUR(TM)s bulletins, service letters, and modifications analysis/review. Preparing technical reports and documentation to satisfy customer and maintenance program requirements, including proposals, procedures, reports, and correspondence. Performing Root Cause Analysis, lifecycle asset analysis, and trending analysis on quality issues. Calculating aircraft reliability parameters such as MTBF and MTBUR from reliability databases. Investigating PQDR, MEC, Oil Analysis Discrepancy Feedback, and other technical reports to determine root causes, gather data, and implement corrective actions. Coordinating investigations related to customer complaints. Participating in defining maintenance requirements and justifying acceptance limits to ensure compliance. Reviewing procurement documents for quality requirements and implementing incoming inspection plans and test acceptance criteria. Maintaining technical liaison with OEMs, suppliers, contractors, and laboratories through effective communication. Providing technical support to maintenance regarding CPC and OAP programs. Performing miscellaneous duties as assigned by management. Assisting in developing standard operating procedures and internal techniques. #J-18808-Ljbffr
