The Position The main role of the Engagement Lead is to support Principals and Partners in their business development and delivery by managing client engagements through all phases. You will contribute to thought leadership by supporting Partners and Principals with the development of products, tools and methodologies. The engagement leader will provide leadership on a range of projects, including organisational transformation, leadership assessment and development, team effectiveness and culture transformation. Coming into the role you will demonstrate strong experience in at least one of these domains, together with interpersonal skills, project management and analytic skills and experience of managing teams. You will have worked in a consulting firm or are able to demonstrate the capability to effectively work with clients independently to a high level of proficiency. The role will be based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Accountabilities
Oversee the delivery of the entire engagement under supervision of Partners or Principals. Ensure all project plans are current and on track as contracted
Coordinate with Partners or Principals and client on a weekly basis regarding scope, insights, recommendations, and progress
Develops client-ready documents, sharp summaries, and articulates clear insights and recommendations
Manage projects within budget and be able to provide budgetary updates
Have ongoing, meaningful relationships with the client
Demonstrate highly developed conceptual skills; synthesise information quickly and understand industries and market trends and to subsequently present material in an organised and clear manner
Work with multiple stakeholders on simultaneous engagements
Support creation of client and account level business development material
Build reusable, client-ready collateral, materials and presentations that clearly define the problem, summarize the analysis, outline potential solutions and lead to actionable recommendations
Build strong relationship with the firm\xe2\x80\x99s Search colleagues, collaborate and assist with educating on Heidrick Consulting product line
Give and receive honest feedback to facilitate learning and performance
Coach and Mentor Consultants and Analysts
Develop existing relationships with colleagues and act as a role model by representing the values of the Firm
Proactively develop own learning; build own expertise and experience to contribute across a range of client projects.

Qualifications& Experience
Deep curiosity about and interest in people, organisations and behaviour
Undergraduate degree is required; Business, Economics, Finance, Psychology, or other numerate discipline. An MBA or other relevant Masters degree is preferred
8+ years of work experience in a business environment, with 5 years in a management or leadership consulting environment
Strong organisational, analytical, planning and project management skills; able to effectively prioritise projects and deliverables
Collaborative, \xe2\x80\x98win as one team\xe2\x80\x99 mindset; a positive contributor to a collegial, and collaborative environment
Strong intellectual capacity, a continuous learner, highly analytical and good conceptual thinking skills
Highly proficient in PowerPoint, Word and Excel
Demonstrates a high level of English writing skills; can prepare concise and compelling deliverables
Excellent attention to detail
Demonstratable initiative and resourcefulness and the ability to develop well planned strategies and achieve goals with tight timelines
Willingness to travel locally and globally as required
Experience of working in the UAE or GCC is preferred
