Job Overview
The Energy Manager will identify business opportunities, lead client engagements, and manage project teams to deliver energy audits, modeling, and performance contracting solutions. You will oversee energy engineering activities and measurement and verification protocols while promoting innovative practices in sustainable design, operational efficiency, and retrofit strategies.
Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue energy solution opportunities across sectors including government, healthcare, education, and commercial buildings
• Provide expert consultation on energy efficiency, data analysis, renewable systems, and energy audits
• Lead energy management programs and client engagements, driving cost-saving solutions
• Conduct system-level audits, benchmark performance, and recommend conservation measures
• Manage a team of energy engineers and auditors in project execution and proposal development
• Guide proposal preparation and M&V planning in compliance with IPMVP and ISO 50001
• Collaborate with internal departments and client stakeholders to ensure project success
• Stay up to date on industry trends, energy policies, and new technologies
• Oversee compliance with LEED, ASHRAE, and local HSE regulations
• Promote recycling, waste reduction, and carbon-conscious strategies within client facilities

Reporting & MIS

• Track project performance, energy savings, and client satisfaction metrics
• Generate technical and financial reports on project outcomes and sustainability progress

Financial Management

• Support commercial teams in proposal costing, financial modeling, and investment validation
• Contribute to strategy planning for expanding market share in energy services

Governance & Standards

• Ensure compliance with legal and contractual energy regulations and safety protocols
• Lead audits and inspections to validate service quality and performance

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Energy Management, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
• Certified Measurement and Verification Professional (CMVP) certification required
• 8-10 years of experience in energy management, retrofit projects, and sustainability consulting
• Strong understanding of HVAC, BAS, lighting systems, and metering infrastructure
• Experience in building automation systems and performance tracking tools
• Familiarity with ISO 50001, LEED, and energy performance contracting models
• Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills
