Job Description
Full Time Embroidery Machinist What is the job? The Embroidery Machine operator works with industrial machines to complete embroidery projects. They sew logos, initials, and other designs onto a range of fabrics and may also provide creative input. What do my tasks look like? ?
- Ability to deliver to personal production targets.
- Follow the safe operational practices of the multi-head machines.
- Maintain a clean working environment.
- Basic involvement in machine cleaning and maintenance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- The working hours are 54 hours a week, over 7 days
- (Overtime available). One day off per week.
- Minimum of 2- 3 years of clothing manufacturing (factory) experience.
- Ability to work with an industrial single-needle machine required.
- Ability to work on a buttonhole/button-sew machine (a big advantage but not essential).
- An excellent eye for detail.
- You will already have experience in an embroidery environment and be able to demonstrate a good understanding of embroidery application direct to garment on a multi-head embroidery machine. Or, if you have experience as a sewing machinist and would like to train on embroidery machines.
- You will require to be flexible to work additional overtime when required.
Contract length: 24 months Ability to commute/relocate:
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
