ELV Pre-Sales Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and technically sound ELV Pre-Sales Engineer to support business development and sales teams by designing, estimating, and proposing ELV solutions. The role involves system design, BOQ preparation, technical presentations, and coordination with vendors and clients. Oil & Gas industry experience will be a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare ELV system designs, layouts, and technical proposals based on project requirements

Develop concept, detailed design, and compliance drawings

Perform pre-sales activities including:

Technical presentations

Product demonstrations

Clarifications and submittals

Design and estimate systems including:

CCTV Surveillance Systems

Access Control Systems

Public Address & General Alarm (PAGA) Systems

Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and value engineering proposals

Review tender documents, specifications, and drawings

Coordinate with:

Sales team

OEMs and suppliers

Consultants and end clients

Ensure designs comply with local and international standards (NFPA, IEC, ISO, etc.)

Support post-bid clarifications and technical negotiations

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience as an ELV Pre-Sales or Design Engineer

Hands-on experience in:

CCTV systems

Access Control systems

PAGA system design

Strong knowledge of ELV architecture, system integration, and networking

Experience in Oil & Gas projects is a strong advantage

Ability to prepare technical drawings and documentation

Good understanding of tendering and pre-sales processes

Strong communication and presentation skills

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in:

Electronics / Electrical Engineering

Telecommunications

Instrumentation or related field

Preferred

Experience in UAE / GCC projects

Familiarity with ADNOC, ARAMCO, or similar Oil & Gas standards

Vendor certifications (Axis, Honeywell, Bosch, Siemens, etc.) - added advantage
