Elv Estimation Engineer

Job Description
We are looking for an Estimation Engineer who has experience in the ELV industry, such as structured cabling, active systems, security systems, BMS, etc., to join our team immediately.
- Designing and estimating the cost of data and voice cabling infrastructure for telecommunications and networking systems.
- Estimating the costs for access control systems, surveillance cameras, intrusion detection systems, and other security-related technologies.
- Estimating the budget for audio and video systems, including conference room setups, digital signage, and home theater systems.
- Estimating costs for systems that control and monitor building operations, such as lighting, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), and energy management systems.
- Estimating the costs for fire detection and alarm systems, which are crucial for safety in commercial and residential buildings.
- Understanding the specific requirements of the project, including its size, complexity, and the ELV systems needed.
- Creating accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and other resources required for ELV system installations.
- Developing comprehensive project proposals and bids that outline the estimated costs, project timelines, and technical specifications.
- Collaborating with vendors and subcontractors to gather quotes and information for the estimation process.
- Ensuring that all ELV system installations comply with industry standards and local building codes.
- Identifying opportunities for cost savings while maintaining the required quality and functionality of ELV systems.
- Maintaining detailed records of cost estimates, project documents, and any changes to the project scope.
- Working closely with project managers, architects, and clients to clarify requirements and address any concerns related to ELV systems.
- Only qualified candidates who meet the below requirements apply.
- Must be degree qualified (in Engineering)
- Min 3-5 years of experience in the ME region particularly in ELV industry like Structured Cabling, Active, Security System, BMS, Fire Alarm and others.
- Good experience with networking industry, Products (Passive & Active) components are recommended.
- Sharjah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
