Job Description

We are seeking a

skilled and experienced ELV Draftsman

to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, modifying, and maintaining ELV system drawings, including CCTV, , ANPR, access control, and structured cabling systems in compliance with

SIRA and other local regulations

. The role requires coordination with engineers and site teams, site verification, and technical drawing support for ongoing and completed projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Drafting & Drawing Preparation:

Prepare detailed ELV shop drawings, layouts, schematics, and as-built drawings for CCTV, ANPR, access control, and other ELV systems.

System Coordination & Integration:

Coordinate with Security System Engineers and project teams to ensure drawings accurately reflect system designs, integrations, and site conditions.

Modifications & Updates:

Revise and update drawings based on site changes, engineer instructions, and client requirements.

SIRA Compliance & Documentation:

Ensure all ELV drawings comply with

SIRA standards

and assist in preparing drawings for SIRA submissions and audits.

Site Verification:

Conduct site visits when required to verify installations and prepare accurate as-built drawings.

Drawing Management:

Maintain proper documentation, version control, and archiving of all ELV drawings for project execution and audit purposes.

Requirements:

Education:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, IT, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum

2+ years of experience

as an ELV Draftsman in the UAE.

Technical Knowledge:

Strong understanding of ELV systems including CCTV, ANPR, access control, and basic networking concepts.

Nationality:

Any.

Certifications:

SIRA knowledge is required (SIRA certification is an added advantage).

Skills:

Strong attention to detail and drafting accuracy.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Proficiency in

AutoCAD

and

Adobe Illustrator

for preparing and modifying ELV drawings.
Knowledge of SIRA requirements and ELV drawing standards.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
