Job Description

We are seeking a

Multi-Skilled ELV and AV Technician

to join our team. This role involves the installation, repair, and maintenance of both ELV (Extra Low Voltage) and AV (Audio-Visual) systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on technical experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair faults in ELV systems (CCTV, alarm systems, access control, etc.) and AV systems. Perform routine maintenance and calibration of ELV and AV equipment. Install and configure ELV systems according to specifications. Set up permanent AV equipment in offices, classrooms, and similar spaces. Transport, install, and connect AV systems for live events and presentations. Conduct cleaning, maintenance, and basic repairs on AV equipment. Set up and maintain NVRs, time attendance systems, and door access control units. Coordinate with manufacturers for technical support and equipment replacements when needed. Follow system operation procedures and safety standards. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and basic networking issues.

Requirements:

Experience:

2-3 years in a similar role working with both ELV and AV systems.

Technical Knowledge:

Strong understanding of CCTV, alarms, access control systems, and AV technologies.

Documentation:

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and system diagrams.

Networking:

Basic understanding of networking principles (e.g., IP configuration) is a plus.

Problem-Solving:

Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.

Independence:

Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.

Pay: AED1,800.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
