Job Description
Elevator Technician - Testing and commissioning
Perform final testing and commissioning of elevators to ensure they meet operational standards.
Conduct safety and performance checks following regulatory and manufacturer guidelines.
Assist in the installation process to ensure systems are ready for testing.
Verify proper installation of mechanical and electrical components.
*Identify and rectify issues encountered during testing.
Diagnose and resolve problems related to system functionality or compliance.
Ensure all work complies with safety codes, regulations, and company standards.
Maintain detailed reports on testing results, issues encountered, and resolution steps.
Work closely with project engineers, site supervisors, and installation teams.
Provide feedback to improve installation processes and product design.
Qualifications and Skills:
Diploma/Certificate in Electrical, Mechanical, or Elevator Engineering.
Proven experience in elevator installation, testing, or commissioning.
Strong understanding of elevator systems and components.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to elevators.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
