onshore and offshore
assets, providing technical expertise in troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing electronic, hydraulic, and control systems associated with coil tubing equipment.
This role requires strong hands-on experience with
X11 or conventional CT units
,
HP Pumps
, and
C-Pumps
, along with the ability to work safely and effectively in demanding operational environments.
Key Responsibilities
------------------------
Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of electronic systems on
X11 or conventional coil tubing units
, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with operational standards.
Troubleshoot and service
HP Pump
and
C-Pump
electrical and control systems.
Support coil tubing operational teams during job mobilization, rig-up, execution, and demobilization.
Inspect, test, and calibrate electronic panels, sensors, PLCs, instrumentation, and safety systems.
Assist in equipment upgrades, wiring modifications, PCB repairs, and control panel improvements.
Maintain detailed service logs, records, and reports as required by the client.
Coordinate with mechanical and hydraulic technicians to resolve multidisciplinary equipment issues.
Ensure all work complies with client safety rules, company standards, and offshore/onshore regulations.
Provide on-call technical support during critical operations or unplanned equipment downtime.
Participate in toolbox talks, HSE meetings, and equipment audits.
Required Qualifications & Experience

Minimum
5+ years
experience as an Electronic Technician in oilfield services or energy sector.
Strong hands-on experience with:

X11 or conventional Coil Tubing (CT) units
+
HP Pump systems
+
C-Pump systems
+ Electronic control systems, PLCs, and instrumentation Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
Experienced in troubleshooting electronic control panels, sensors, actuators, and feedback systems.
Previous offshore/onshore oil & gas experience (Middle East experience preferred).
Valid offshore certificates (BOSIET/OPITO, H2S, Medical) - or willingness to obtain prior to mobilization.
Strong safety awareness and adherence to permit-to-work (PTW) systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a small technical team.
