ELECTRONIC REPAIR TECHNICIAN

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Identify and diagnose issues with LED modules,TV, including problems related to PCBs, LEDs,Diodes,Control Card, ICs, and other components.

2. Repair faulty LED modules by replacing defective components, such as LEDs, ICs, resistors, capacitors, Diodes , Control Cards, PCB or other parts as needed.

3. Test repaired LED modules / TV to ensure they are functioning properly and calibrate them for optimal performance.

4. Perform soldering and desoldering tasks to replace components on PCBs , IC, Diodes as necessary.

5. Conduct component-level repairs on PCBs, ICs,LED Diodes and other electronic components to address specific issues.

6. Ensure that repaired LED modules meet quality standards and specifications, including resolution and contrast ratio for indoor and outdoor displays.

7. Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts used, and work performed on each LED module , TV , for future reference.

8.Communicate with clients to understand their requirements, provide repair estimates, and update them on the status of repairs.

9. Stay informed about the latest LED technology trends, advancements, and repair techniques to enhance skills and knowledge.

10. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working with electronic components to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.

Qualification:

1. A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required. Some employers may prefer candidates with an associate degree or certification in electronics or a related field.

2. Completion of a vocational or technical program in electronics repair, electrical engineering technology, or a related field can provide valuable hands-on training and knowledge.

3. Previous experience in electronics repair, particularly with LED modules, PCBs, ICs, and other electronic components, is highly beneficial. Experience with troubleshooting and repairing electronic devices is essential.

4. A solid understanding of electronic circuits, components, and systems is necessary. Specific knowledge of LED technology, PCB design, soldering techniques, and troubleshooting methodologies is important.

5. -Proficiency in using electronic testing equipment, such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and soldering irons.

- Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and technical manuals.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent hand-eye coordination for soldering and desoldering tasks.

- Good communication skills for interacting with clients and documenting repairs.

6. Obtaining certifications in electronics repair or specific technologies, such as LED repair, can demonstrate expertise and competency in the field.

7. Basic computer skills are often required for documenting repairs, accessing technical information online, and using diagnostic software.

8. The ability to adapt to new technologies, processes, and repair techniques as the field of electronics continues to evolve.

9. Understanding of safety protocols and practices when working with electronic components and equipment to ensure a safe working environment.

10. Capacity to analyze complex electronic issues, troubleshoot problems effectively, and develop innovative solutions to repair electronic devices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
