Description

Overview Rapiscan is currently seeking a Field Service Technician to be part of our fast paced and quality focused team. The candidate for this position will be based in (Dubai) UAE. A Field Service Technician has the primary responsibility of ensuring the users of Rapiscan's equipment are satisfied with its performance. The Field Service Technician will be required to provide basic installation, troubleshooting, diagnostic, repair, and maintenance/onsite support with total customer satisfaction in mind. This individual must demonstrate strong electronic repair and troubleshooting skills and knowledge. Responsibilities Assist with system installations in the field when necessary. This may involve travel. Installation of the full range of the Company's Checkpoint & Trace products at customer sites. Follow RMA process to completion. Documents all maintenance and repair work submitting paperwork in required time frame Serves as On-Call Customer Support Technician when required. Must be able to respond to emergency and non-scheduled calls for service daily within established response time goals. Responsible for meeting daily service repair needs and driving customer satisfaction at assigned sites / locations. Routine preventative and corrective maintenance of the Company's equipment at customer sites. Provide out of hours standby cover as part of established teams. Complete all reporting requirements, both internal and customer-based reports, in a timely manner. Comply with all QA and HSE requirements, as stipulated by Rapiscan Systems and relevant legislation. Qualifications Diploma/bachelor's degree in mechanical / Electrical / Electronic or IT related engineering Minimum 2+ years relevant experience in installation, troubleshooting and maintenance services of security equipment or other industry field. Must have knowledge of electronic and mechanical assemblies, as well as wiring diagrams and schematics. Familiarity with test equipment and experience with high voltage and x-ray producing equipment preferred. OSI Systems, Inc. has three operating divisions: (a) Security, providing security and inspection systems, turnkey security screening solutions and related services; (b) Healthcare, providing patient monitoring, diagnostic cardiology and anesthesia systems; and (c) Optoelectronics and Manufacturing, providing specialized electronic components and electronic manufacturing services for original equipment manufacturers with applications in the defense, aerospace, medical and industrial markets, among others.Diploma/bachelor's degree in mechanical / Electrical / Electronic or IT related engineering Minimum 2+ years relevant experience in installation, troubleshooting and maintenance services of security equipment or other industry field.
