Role Purpose
Coordinate with the assigned team leader to execute engineering activities relating to the electrical / electronic /software system design by collaboration with assigned team members, within the agreed scope of work.

Role Purpose
Coordinate with the assigned team leader to execute engineering activities relating to the electrical / electronic /software system design by collaboration with assigned team members, within the agreed scope of work.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the preparation of electrical work packages, associated non-recuring engineering cost, schedule planning and sub-contracting for electronic / software systems.
- Report on the progress of development projects though the different phases of the development.
- Liaise with and report on the progress of sub-contracted electrical / software work.
- Develop hardware and software architectures ensuring maximum platform commonality.
- Develop and utilize reusable object-oriented frameworks within the intended scope of work.
- Design and integrate and simulate electronic hardware / software to confirm compliance with specifications.
- Create designs and technical solution in collaboration with team members.
- Implement prototypes and qualify design by testing.
- Troubleshoot new or existing designs / products, determine root causes of failures, recommend design changes, establish processes and methods related to all aspects of the electrical systems on vehicle or sub-systems level.
- Bachelor's degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering preferred with 7-10 years experience at least and working experience in military automotive.
- Experience working in multi-discipline engineering teams
- Experience with vehicle electrical and electronic and software systems.
- Experience working in automotive / defense / military environment.
- Basic knowledge about configuration management, structured engineering processes and quality assurance.
- Experience with Embedded programming, Ladder logic, CAN Bus communication, SAE J1939 protocol, and Ethernet communication with TCP and UDP.
