Electromechanical Technician
Job Description
Perform installation and commissioning of electromechanical systems (HVAC, pumps, motors, electrical panels, lighting, conduits, cable trays, etc.) at the construction site.
Support the MEP team with electrical and mechanical fit-outs including wiring, ductwork, piping, and control system integration.
Assist in reading and interpreting construction drawings, layouts, and technical diagrams.
Conduct pre-commissioning and functional testing of installed systems to ensure readiness.
Coordinate with civil and structural teams to ensure proper sequencing of MEP works.
Ensure installation work complies with project specifications, local building codes, and safety standards.
Maintain tools and equipment and ensure proper usage and care.
Document progress, report site issues, and assist in material management and inspections.
Perform troubleshooting and repair of installed systems during construction and handover phases.
Attend site meetings and follow instructions from site engineers and supervisors.
