Job Summary:
The Electromechanical Service Advisor acts as the primary liaison between customers and the service team, ensuring efficient handling of electromechanical equipment repairs, maintenance, and service requests. This role requires strong technical knowledge of electromechanical systems, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to coordinate between clients, technicians, and parts suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Service & Communication:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for customers requiring electromechanical repairs or maintenance.
  • Assess customer concerns, provide accurate diagnostics, and recommend appropriate service solutions.
  • Prepare and explain cost estimates, repair timelines, and warranty information.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
2. Technical Support & Coordination:
  • Work closely with electromechanical technicians to diagnose issues and determine necessary repairs.
  • Schedule service appointments and allocate resources efficiently.
  • Ensure proper documentation of service requests, work orders, and repair histories.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of electromechanical systems, tools, and industry trends.
3. Administrative & Operational Duties:
  • Process service orders, invoices, and warranty claims accurately.
  • Manage inventory of spare parts and coordinate with suppliers as needed.
  • Track service metrics (e.g., turnaround time, customer feedback) and report to management.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
4. Sales & Upselling:
  • Identify opportunities for additional services, maintenance plans, or part replacements.
  • Promote service packages and extended warranties to customers.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Education: Diploma or degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Experience: 2+ years in a service advisor, technical support, or customer service role within electromechanical, automotive, industrial machinery, or a related sector.
  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of electromechanical systems (motors, sensors, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, etc.).
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in service management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or industry-specific tools).
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
