Electrician
Job Summary:
The Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. The candidate will ensure that all work is done in accordance with relevant codes and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial/residential buildings, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
- Inspect electrical components such as transformers, circuit breakers, and panels.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
- Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
- Perform terminations and connections for cables, wires, and conduits.
- Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) or local equivalent and all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with other trades to complete integrated projects.
- ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of low voltage (LV) systems and components.
- Experience with DB (Distribution Board) wiring, MCCs, and cable laying.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations.
Immediate Joining: Must be available to start on short notice.
Passport: Must have a valid passport with a minimum of 8 months validity.
Language: Proficient in spoken and written English is mandatory.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in the relevant field.
