Valid certification and seafarer documents, endorsed for Comoros flag
Marine or Industrial Electrical/Electronic Engineering Diploma or Certificate
Minimum 3-4 years sea experience as Electrician or Electrical Officer on cargo vessels
CPP (Controllable Pitch Propeller) experience preferable
Good knowledge of:
Shipboard electrical power generation and distribution systems
Motors, switchboards, generators, and starters
Alarm, monitoring, and control systems
Navigation and communication equipment (basic fault finding)
Experience with planned maintenance systems (PMS) and electrical troubleshooting
Familiar with ISM Code, MARPOL, and engine-room safety procedures
Ability to read electrical drawings and manuals
Valid Seafarer Medical Certificate and Seaman's Book
Good command of English
Experience on general cargo vessels preferred
