Job Description
IIQAF is searching for an Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components. The ideal candidate must have knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, control systems, and other related components. They must be highly organized, resourceful, and a self-starter.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, replace, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, switchboards, and conduits
- Ensure the accuracy and safety of all systems and components
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and other technical designs
- Replace and repair switchgear, connections, fixtures, electrical installations, controllers, and motors
- Test electrical systems and equipment using measuring devices
- Create electrical systems by wiring components, connecting electrical panels, and operating power tools
- Maintain knowledge of local and national electrical building codes
- Provide technical training and support as required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as an Electrician
- Solid understanding of electrical engineering principles and systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to use electrical testing and measurement equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds
- Valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license
