About the role:

Electrical technicians are primarily responsible for repairing and maintaining GMG property assets\' electrical units.

Preventative maintenance, repairs, and minor adjustments of electrical linked equipment such as LV panels, MDB\'s, ATS, Capacitor Bank, SMDB\'s, DB\'s, MCP\'s, MCC\'s, VFD\'s, Pumps, Fans, UPS, and Generators are also required.

As well as installing and maintaining wiring, control, and lighting systems. Examine electrical components including transformers and circuit breakers. Using a range of testing gear, identify electrical faults. Using hand and power tools, repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures. The Electrician will be reporting to the Facilities supervisor/ Facilities Engineer.

Core Responsibilities:

• Familiar and experienced in preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenances of all electrical equipments such as LV panels, MDB\'s, ATS, Capacitor Bank, SMDB\'s, DB\'s, MCP\'s, MCC\'s, VFD\'s, Pumps, Fans, UPS, and Generators.

• Capable of repairing electrical faults, panel maintenance, wiring and trunking works, troubleshooting and problem-solving.

• Capable of plumbing works, repairing of water leagues and insulation works.

• Familiar with wiring works, breakers replacements, relays/contactors replacements, lighting maintenance, VFD repairs, etc.

• The technicians should be able to work in places where they are exposed to dust, fumes, noise, toxic materials and high-voltage equipment.

• Should also be capable of working in confined and hot spaces like roofs, crawlways and attics.

• They should also repair or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using hand and power tools. Work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and Fixtures.

• They may also perform physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches to lay conduits and moving and lifting heavy objects.

• Provide assistance during emergencies by operating floodlights, generators, placing flares, etc.

About the Requirements:

• At least 2-4 years of relevant experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
