Job Description
for Electrician in Construction Company: Position: Electrician Reports to: Project Manager Job Overview: The Electrician is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment in new construction projects. The Electrician will work with the Project Manager to ensure that all electrical work meets local codes and safety standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Install electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and electrical panels
- Repair and maintain electrical systems and equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical problems and provide solutions
- Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and safety standards
- Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project completion
- Maintain inventory of electrical equipment and supplies
- Keep accurate records of electrical work performed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of local electrical codes and safety standards
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
