Job Description

To assist masons and other skilled workers in daily construction activities by preparing materials, handling tools, maintaining clean and safe work areas, and supporting basic masonry tasks. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth site operations, adherence to safety standards, and timely project completion through reliable and hands-on support.

Support for Skilled Workers:

Assist masons, maintenance technicians, plumbers, and other skilled personnel by preparing and supplying necessary tools, equipment, and materials to ensure smooth task execution.

Site Preparation and Maintenance:

Prepare job sites by clearing debris, organizing materials, setting up scaffolding or barriers as required, and maintaining a clean and hazard-free workspace throughout the workday.

Material and Equipment Handling:

Safely load, transport, and position construction materials such as bricks, blocks, cement, sand, and tools to the designated locations. Ensure proper storage to avoid damage or misplacement.

Basic Construction Assistance:

Carry out supportive masonry tasks such as mixing mortar, cutting bricks, assisting in brick/block laying, lifting heavy items, and cleaning tools or surfaces under the guidance of senior workers.

Safety Compliance:

Adhere strictly to site safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and actively contribute to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.

Documentation and Inventory Support:

Support the team in tracking usage and availability of tools and materials. Assist with basic record-keeping or updates when requested by supervisors.

Team Coordination and Flexibility:

Work collaboratively with the construction team, respond to requests promptly, and take initiative in supporting other site activities when needed.
