Job Description

1. Carry out the installation and testing of Electrical wiring connection and any other related equipment which falls under the Electrical systems in accordance to ADDC , Etisalat and other relevant codes and standards . 2. Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring and conduits equipment and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes. 3. Ensure that all conduit and containment runs and installations meet expected quality standards. 5. Pull electrical wires and to circuit breakers, DB, electrical outlets, or other components. 6. Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes. 6. Advise supervisor or engineer on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous. 7. Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as voltmeters, to ensure compatibility and safety of system. 8. Place / Install conduit (pipes or tubing) inside designated partitions, walls, or other concealed areas, and pull insulated wires or cables through the conduit to complete circuits between boxes. 9 Construct and fabricate parts, using hand tools and specifications. 10. Fasten small metal or plastic boxes, junctions boxes to walls to house electrical switches or outlets. 11. Perform proper carpentry works as required ( ceiling opening/closing, door lock fixtures).
