1. JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical Testing & Commissioning Engineer with a strong background in power systems. The primary focus will be on the testing, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of MV and LV electrical equipment.
Key responsibilities include:
Testing & Commissioning of HV, MV, and LV electrical substations. Repairing, Maintenance, and Commissioning of: Power Transformers LV Switchgears, MV Switchgears Control and Protection Panels Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) Power cables testing (Fault location, VLF, Tan Delta, etc.). Implementation and modification of protection schemes for all voltage levels. Circuit Breaker Retrofit projects. Analyzing power system faults and troubleshooting. Testing & Commissioning of Power Factor Correction (PFC) controllers. Testing & Commissioning of simple and advanced protection relays (e.g., Siemens, ABB, GE, SEL). Performing Preventive and Corrective Maintenance on all types of Electrical Equipment. Readiness to travel to different project sites within the Kingdom as required.
2. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE
Must-Have Technical Skills:
Extensive hands-on experience in substation testing and commissioning. Proven expertise in protection relay testing and configuration.Years of Experience:
Senior-level experience is required.Education:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.Job Type: Full-time
