Job Description

Role: Perform testing, maintenance and calibration of electrical equipment as per the plan or

otherwise necessary. Provide quality maintenance activities for low and high voltage

electrical system and equipment required for the smooth functioning of the COMPANY

facilities.

Ø Trouble shoot electrical problems and implement repairing activities.

Ø Interpret Work Orders, tests to confirm the problem and propose repair methods

Ø without permanent supervision.

Ø Replace/remove electrical machines.

Ø Pressure test tubing and piping systems, and carry out electrical continuity and

Ø insulation testing of cable systems.

Ø Apply the approved standards, procedures and schedules to ensure the reliability and

Ø integrity of the plant equipment and systems in the allocated area.

Ø Implement the developed scheduled maintenance on relevant equipment and ensure

Ø all work history and data is entered into the CMMS system.

Ø Generate all testing protocols, certificates and other documentations in line with

Ø established standards and ensure that these are linked to the respective equipment

Ø within the CMMS.

Ø Analyze and record test results, and prepare written testing documentation.

Ø Verify part dimensions or clearances to ensure conformance to specifications, using

Ø precision measuring instruments.

Ø Work in accordance with COMPANY QHSE policy and procedures.

Ø Acquire PTW certificate and carry out all the responsibilities of PTW Holder.

Ø Work extended hours and respond to call out duties as and when required.

Requirements

Ø English Language read, write and speaking to IELTS level 3.

Ø Able to trouble shoot on all types of electrical systems and shall be conversant with

Ø the use of test equipment.

Ø Competent to work on LV and HV systems up to 33 kV and UPS system

Ø Conversant with hazardous area electrical equipment.

Ø Robust understanding of HSE issues.

Ø Read blueprints, schematics, diagrams, or technical orders to determine methods and

Ø sequences of assembly.

Ø Good interpersonal communication skill,, problem solving skill, time management skill and work in harmony with co-workers.
