Develop
schematic diagrams, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and wiring layouts
in compliance with project specifications and standards.
Update as-built drawings after project completion.
Ensure accuracy of technical drawings and maintain drawing records.
2. Panel Assembly & Fabrication
Assist in
fabrication, wiring, and assembly
of LV panels, DBs, MDBs, SMDBs, and capacitor banks.
Read and interpret
technical drawings, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams
to ensure correct assembly.
Conduct quality checks on material used (switchgear components, busbars, breakers, meters, etc.).
3. Installation & Commissioning
Support the
installation, connection, and termination
of LV panels at site.
Perform
testing, inspection, and commissioning
of panels to ensure functionality and safety compliance.
Troubleshoot issues during installation and rectify wiring/fabrication errors.
4. Maintenance & Troubleshooting
Carry out
preventive and corrective maintenance
of LV panels, DBs, MDBs, SMDBs, and capacitor banks.
Diagnose faults such as tripping, overloading, or capacitor failures, and implement corrective measures.
Ensure compliance with
safety standards and electrical codes
during maintenance activities.
5. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain proper
documentation of drawings, wiring changes, and test reports
.
Provide technical support to engineers and supervisors by explaining drawing details and modifications.
Prepare material take-off lists from drawings for procurement purposes.
6. Standards & Safety Compliance
Ensure all panel works are carried out as per
DEWA, FEWA
Follow
electrical safety procedures
during design, assembly, and site activities.
Participate in internal and external inspections to meet quality and safety standards.
