Job Description

Job Summary:
The Electrical Supervisor oversees the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, project specifications, and industry standards. They lead a team of electricians and technicians, coordinating tasks to ensure efficient and high-quality electrical work.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervision & Team Management

• Supervise and coordinate the work of electricians, technicians, and contractors.
• Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of projects.
• Provide technical guidance and training to team members.
• Conduct performance evaluations and enforce workplace policies.

2. Electrical System Maintenance & Installation

• Oversee the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, transformers, and control panels.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes (NEC, IEC, or local regulations) and safety standards (OSHA, NFPA).
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement corrective actions.
• Inspect electrical components to identify hazards, defects, or needed repairs.

3. Project Coordination & Compliance

• Review electrical blueprints, schematics, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other departments to ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure all electrical work meets quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain records of inspections, maintenance activities, and work orders.

4. Safety & Compliance

• Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols (lockout/tagout, PPE, arc flash safety).
• Conduct safety meetings and risk assessments.
• Investigate electrical incidents and implement preventive measures.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and energy efficiency standards.
